Amphora, Eduard Stellmacher and Co, Paul Dachsel and Ernst Wahliss and Co. are considered under the same heading as Amphora. Amphora ceramics represent the peak of Art Nouveau and Paul Dachsel designed many of the finest and most innovative models. The company received many medals at international exhibitions including the gold medal at the famous Paris 1900 exhibition. Paul Dachsel left Amphora in 1903 to start his own short-lived company and worked with Ernest Wahliss and Co. where his distinctive style is apparent.
